How should I plan for my appointment?

We appreciate you choosing Synergy Health as your Primary Care Provider, our procedures and policies are designed to make it easy and convenient for you and your family to access the best medical care. Our Staff will help you plan your visit, make appointments, and access the wide range of health care services available at the office.

  • If it’s your first appointment, please arrive 30 mins early to complete new patient paperwork.
  • You will receive an automated reminder call 3 days before your scheduled appointment.
  • Please bring your insurance card, photo ID, and list of medications to every appointment.
  • We will contact you if the office is forced to close due to bad weather.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask you to give us 24-hour notice. If you miss an appointment, we will call you to reschedule

The main phone number for the practice is (717) 867-4000. Individual departments can be reached through the phone menu.

What if I need a prescription or supplement refill?

For supplements ordered originally at synergy health, you can request refills online through your patient portal, or get them in office if available.

– For prescriptions filled at your local pharmacy, please contact your pharmacy directly for a refill. If you need a refill authorization, please call the office during regular business hours 24 to 48 hours before you need it.

– Please note we are unable to prescribe any new medicines by telephone.

Missed Appointment Policy

For Chiropractic and Primary Care:

As a courtesy to other patients, please provide 24-48 hour notice if you are unable to make your appointment time. Our staff will be happy to reschedule to a more convenient time.

Referrals

If you are switching from another practice, it’s easy to change to Synergy Health! Call the office (717) 962-9220 to request a new patient appointment, or click here to schedule online!

Lab Work and Imaging

If you need lab work, or an x-ray, we can do both in house! We can also send out lab and x-ray orders if you need or prefer a different location.

What to do if you get sick during after hours, or if you have an emergency?

If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the closest emergency department immediately.
If the office is closed, and you need help for a non-life-threatening emergency, call us and leave a message. We will return your call as soon as possible to set up an appointment. If you feel it is necessary, visit your local urgent care center. Here is a link showing nearby urgent care centers.

Synergy Health’s Patient Portal provides patients across the region with secure access to their health information. It is the fastest way to send a message to your doctor, refill prescriptions, get test results, and schedule and manage appointments, including video visits.

Health Questions:

Please contact our office during regular business hours for general health and non-urgent questions. You may also send us secure messages 24/7 using your athenahealth patient portal. We aim to respond to messages within 24 hours.

Online Bill Pay:

You can quickly and securely pay your bill online through Athenahealth by clicking this link!

Copay:

If you have an insurance co pay for office visits, we ask that you pay that at the time of your appointment. We accept all major credit cards as well as debit cards for payment.
We participate with many insurance companies, we ask that you check with your company regarding any questions about your coverage.
